We are under stress, and it is having an affect on us. Do you feel it? Are you experiencing symptoms like; irritability, anxiety, depression, headaches and insomnia? These symptoms are all associated with chronic stress. And, what is one main thing that happens when we are under chronic stress? Our endocrine system stops functioning optimally, and we can become hormonally imbalanced. Our adrenal glands start pumping stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol at higher rates, our digestion is compromised, leading to the inability to absorb vital nutrients, and our immune system weakens, making us susceptible to viruses and other illnesses.

Cassandra Lau is the host of The Beautifully Intentional Podcast, and is sharing 4 tips that will inspire us to start being intentional with our self-care, and how doing so will send "safety signals" to our brain to help reduce stress physically, mentally and emotionally. Managing our stress is the BEST way and first strategy we should use to stay safe, remain healthy and to continue feeling happy during this time.
