104: What Is Blocking You From Manifesting?

The practice of manifesting is a hot topic and many of you have reached out to me expressing concerns about blocks that are coming up for you when trying to manifest - thus, you find yourself in a cycle of not taking action. We’re diving in more today to talk all about manifesting and believing in your dreams and ultimately speaking your desires into your reality.It’s important to note that just because I put in the work every day to manifest my goals, it doesn’t mean it will always work. It’s up to you to reel in all of the lines you have cast in your network to make things happen - in other words, if you don’t take action, the things you are trying to manifest will never become your reality. So here is your reminder that in order to manifest the life you dream of having, you must do the work. There are, however, a few things that you can be doing now, as you are patiently waiting for things to unravel. If you are currently feeling stuck or blocked in your manifesting practice, know that this happens to everyone. Blocks are often there to protect you. As soon as you take steps towards your dreams, your subconscious mind gets uncomfortable and as a way of protecting you, it stops you from taking action. As a result, sometimes we need further guidance from another source to help us move forward.Tips for your Manifesting Practice: Know your desire. Relax and get really still, then think of your greatest desires in life - don’t play small. Think of everything you are truly wanting in your life and then write this down. Visualize your desire as if it were already real. Allow yourself to really feel yourself with that dream already accomplished. Bring in all of your senses and get emotional. Emotion is what ignites the fire within your desire.Take action. Start by writing down three things that immediately come to mind when you think of how you might be able to achieve your desires. Begin small and then build on this list. Let go of the fear and be creative!Repeat steps 1-3 every day until you wake up and realize that you are living out your dream! If you think this is too much work or you commit to steps 1-3 and find yourself not repeating them every single day, perhaps your desires are not what you truly want. If the desire is strong enough, you will do whatever it takes to make it happen.Whatever it is that you choose to do, start small. Just commit and make the choice each and every day to show up. Each day that you decide to do this, you will be one step closer to your desire. Allowing your dreams to transpire requires dedication, work, and consistency each day. If you have to, ask yourself if you’d be okay with not being any further along than you are today, one year from now.
