106: Do You Honour Your Own Self-Worth

Listen Later

For today’s quickie, I was really inspired by why I started my brand and how moving through my mindset blocks of how I value myself has, in turn, allowed me to inspire and help others. If you’re new here and don’t know my story or why I started the Muve Forward Podcast and the Muve Life brand, I encourage you to go back to Episode # 1 of the Muve Forward Podcast and have a listen (linked below). I talk about my own life journey and the struggles I’ve gone through to get me here today. I also dive into why I’m so passionate about sharing my journey with others and how it’s also been so helpful and inspiring for me to hear stories of resilience through dark times from those I interview. One thing that has become apparent to me especially over the past year of Podcasting and interviewing is that many people face the same struggle of a certain block within their mindset before they can truly make a change in their life. It has to do with knowing your worth; knowing and believing in your own self-worth. You may know that you have a block - and you may have been struggling with that block for a while now - or you might be unaware that your inability to fully love yourself is stopping you from achieving your full potential. I want you to start by asking yourself a couple of questions: Do you believe that you have the right to have and to want the things you desire? And, are you a person who is confident in themselves? If answering these questions gave you a pit in your stomach … then please keep reading. Often our own self-judgment can come from past experiences and from the people we’ve had in our lives and what they’ve taught us. It’s important to remember that these people showed up for us with what they could; we teach what we have been taught. You must first let go of any resentful feelings towards the teachers in your life for the limiting beliefs you have today. Choose to release, and choose to change your mindset from this day forward. We all have a right to self-love and we are all capable of having self-love - it just may take some work if your “normal” right now is the opposite. Self-love affects your body, your mind, and the outcome of your relationships, your career, and your success - so you can imagine what a negative view of yourself is going to do for how you live your life. It’s nearly impossible to succeed at the things that you don’t believe are in your reach. We can often feel so many negative beliefs about ourselves but if we can instead focus on all of the good we’ve done, we can begin to see how truly valuable we are. Tapping into that respect and love for ourselves will allow us to shine so much brighter and thus we can help more, and educate more, and inspire more. I’ll end with one of my favourite quotes, “Sometimes you have to forget what you feel and remember what you’re worth.” - unknown. If you’re ready to love yourself once and for all and start achieving your most burning desires, I’d love to chat more. Book a free call with me at https://www.muvelife.com/the-muvement. I want to help you find that self-love and self-worth so that you can begin to manifest all that you desire.
