I’ve been doing recovery work for a year….. listening to countless podcasts, reading books, part of a betrayal trauma 12 step recovery group, personal counselling, couples counseling. I’ve been doing all the things and because my husband is a “bare minimum” kind of person I’ve been accused by him and our couples counsellor that I’m “acting like an expert”. I definitely don’t think I’m an expert, I’m trying to thoroughly educate myself for my own recovery and to know what to look for when it comes or false recovery.
