Pamela Durkin has been a professional interior designer for over 30 years. She is a past president of ASID Florida South Chapter and served on the Board of Architecture and Design in NJ. She lives in Naples, FL, and in her spare time, loves spending time on the beach and learning new moves in her home dance studio.

Through this episode, we chatted about finding and meeting your ideal clients where they are at. We connected over our shared views on using your genuine personality to connect with clients on a deeper level. Clients are more likely to connect with YOU, the person, rather than you, the business. Pamela also shared her observation of how designers tend to focus on providing a report on the transformation of a space, rather than how it improved the lives of clients and why it was done. Building a future client base means talking more about the "WHY" and how you helped solve a problem, rather than how you got to the end result. We also chatted about Pamela's book, Elevate!
