SHINING WITH ADHD
EPISODE #125: Finding Joy in the Journey of Parenting ADHD with Therapist Allison Puryear
The Childhood Collective
9/06/2023
SUMMARYWhat does it look like to trade the feeling of powerlessness for acceptance and frustration for admiration? In this vulnerable episode, we share an amazing story from therapist Allison Puryear, who was integral to launching our work and community at The Childhood Collective. Allison is an inspiration as she openly shares about her parenting journey and discovering medical conditions and ADHD in her child.
MEET ALLISONAllison Puryear (rhymes with “career”) is a therapist who burned out on agency work & then built successful private practices in 3 wildly different markets. Allison started Abundance Practice Building to help other therapists build their own full & happy private practices - because a happy therapist is a better therapist! In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Allison is also the parent of a neurodivergent child.
