(2) 這一陣子(這一段時間)正持續進行的動作, 例句:

He is learning Japanese this semester. 他這一學期正(持續)學日語.

(3) 安排好的未來規劃, (即用現在進行式表未來), 例句:

They are meeting an important client tomorrow. 他們明天要和一位重要的客人見面.

She is visiting her grandparents next month. 下個月她要拜訪她的祖父母.

(4) 未來即將發生的動作, (即用現在進行式表未來), 例句:

Christmas is coming. 耶誕節就要來臨了.

The train is leaving in two minutes. 火車兩分鐘後就要開了.

[實用片語]

* on foot 表達: 用走路的方式, 通常放句尾.

例句:

I go to work on foot. = I walk to work. 我走路上班.

She goes to the park on foot. = She walks to the park. 她走路去公園.
