We were sitting in our kitchen a couple weeks ago when Adrian pulled up this video for us to watch. It went over Scott Harrison’s journey, how he got clarity on his mission to bring clean water to the world, and why he started charity: water to accomplish that goal. 14 later, charity: water has raised over $496 million and funded over 59,000 water projects in 29 countries, providing water for over 11 million people with clean, safe drinking water once all those projects are done. That’s such an incredible impact, but Scott is just getting started.

There are still 785 MILLION people around the world who don’t have access to clean drinking water, with thousands of children dying each day as a result. That sucks. But here’s the silver lining: we know how to help every single one of them. It only costs $40/month to give one person clean water, the systems are in place to do it through charity:water and other organizations, and we just need more resources.
