直接問句: (語氣較直接強烈)

間接問句: (語氣較緩和一點)

註: 間接問句只是包了一個像問句的子句在裏面. 間接問句不一定是個問句. 間接問句是否是個問句, 全看句子開頭的主要子句的句意.

例句:

Do you know [why the birth rate is so low]? 你知道 [為什麼出生率這麼低] 嗎?

I know [why the birth rate is so low]. 我知道 [為什麼出生率這麼低]. (非問句)

Can you tell me [why she likes dogs]? 你可以告訴我 [為什麼她喜歡狗] 嗎?
