“I have worked with so many women who, at one point in time, felt that their voice was not being heard—so instead, it was their skin that started to visibly shout. The body wanted to be heard in one way another,” says board-certified and mindbodygreen collective member dermatologist Keira Barr, M.D. “I cannot tell you how many times I have seen that experience where there is a connection between unmet needs and what is showing up on the surface.”
