*直接問句 vs. 間接問句

直接問句:

例句:

Whose poop is it? 那是誰的便便?

What is his name? 他的名字是什麼?

Why does she like dogs? 為什麼她喜歡狗?

What did he buy? 他買了什麼?

間接問句:

在主要子句內包了一個像問句的子句在裏面.

間接問句不一定是個問句. 間接問句是否是個問句, 全看句子開頭的 “主要子句” 的句意.

**基本結構: 主要子句 + 疑問詞 + [直接問句的 (主詞 + 動詞) ]

例句:

Do you know [whose poop it is]? 你知道 [那是誰的便便] 嗎?

I know [whose poop it is]. 我知道 [那是誰的便便]. (非問句)

Can you tell me [what his name is]? 你可以告訴我 [他的名字是什麼] 嗎?

I know [what his name is]. 我知道 [他的名字是什麼]. (非問句)

Can you tell me [why she likes dogs]? 你可以告訴我 [為什麼她喜歡狗] 嗎?

I want to know [why she likes dogs]. 我想知道 [為什麼她喜歡狗]. (非問句)

Do you know [what he bought]? 你知道 [他買了什麼] 嗎?

Please tell me [what he bought]. 請告訴我 [他買了什麼]. (非問句)

*以上單字詞性的標註, 是以此單字在本對話句子的結構中之性質(角色)來標註. 同一個字在不同句構下, 其詞性可能不同.
