I was raised on the "makes me" mindset.

"This makes me mad.

She makes me ignore her.

They make me yell."

Then at the good age of 23, about to have my first baby, I realized that this "makes me" concept would ruin my motherhood and surely destroy my family. So, I changed.

Now it's 8 years and four children later. I'm thriving, taking full responsibility for who I choose to be- every thought, feeling & action, and it's time for you to detach from the "make me" mindset.
