You may already know that empaths targets for narcissists, but in today's video, I'll explain why that doesn't make you powerless. When you know who you are and what you need will make it easier to draw the line between a first date with a charmer and jumping in for the rest of your life - well, you'll become empowered. And if you find yourself in a toxic relationship, you may already know that the best solution is to leaved go no contact.
Fact: the relationship between the empath and the narcissist is most definitely among the most toxic of all relationships.
Sadly, empaths often are misunderstood as being weak. Because empaths tend to be very kind, many people see us as people who can easily be victimized. or victims of their kindness. Fortunately for us, that's not the case - in fact, when we're healthy, empaths are strong and resilient - not to mention highly sensitive to the feelings and emotions of other people.
Even so, narcissists are like poison to empaths. That's why as soonn as we get connected to one, "victims" are exactly what empaths become, if they don't know how to protect themselves and create boundaries - so that's what we're talking about today.
