Dr. Jahan Khamsehzadeh is an academic, a researcher who studies psilocybin, the compound found in mushrooms and other plants that can have hallucinogenic effects. We’re talking about the history of plant use in indigenous tribes, and the impact these plant medicines may have had on the development of consciousness as we know it. We’ll also get into the current legal research that’s being done all over the world and how psychedelics are being used to treat depression, anxiety, addiction, and even PTSD.
