The inspiration for today's podcast was the completion of the 14th Nourish & Transform Mindfulness Coaching, Yoga and Culinary Medicine Retreat at Sagrada.

There is nothing out there like it.

We share why we do what we do at Sagrada and why we do it there. These retreats happen amidst nature and natural beauty. There is beautiful light and spectacular views. It's private and secluded but also easy to get to.

The retreat does not happen at a spa or a hotel. There are no conference rooms or powerpoints.

The experience is designed not to be merely a retreat but a transformation.

For many, it is the first step of a big life shift and a pivot into living a healthier, more kind, compassionate, intentional, aligned, purposeful and passionate life.

We strengthen and activate our parasympathetic nervous systems, replete body, mind, and spirit, and grow self compassion.

Yoga on the mountaintop is not your usual yoga. It is an experience "inspired by yoga." Many people say they didn't know yoga could be like this.

If you have never done yoga these retreats are the perfect place to start.

Mindfulness is intentionally woven seamlessly into our days in the form of golden light meditation, yoga, thought work, downtime, coloring, journaling, resting, reading, soundbaths, and other practices.

Our intention is for you to leave with both a high functioning parasympathetic nervous system and a toolbox of mindful practices to practice at home.

You will also leave with a new understanding of mindfulness. Not as a checklist activity but as an integral part of your life.

This retreat offers an intensive coaching experience in the most relaxed environment.

People leave changed.

The culinary experience is an important part of the retreat. We nourish mind, body and spirit with food.

Healthy eating is not simply what you eat, but who you eat with, how you feel when you eat, how you eat, and where you eat.

Meals are made for us by a private chef who is part of the family- my husband.

Mark literally infuses his beautiful delicious food with love. You can work with him in the kitchen and learn from him if you want. Mark's food reinspires those who are burnt out on cooking and inspires those who thought they didn't like cooking.

We hope to show you that vegetarian eating can taste and feel amazing. Food made with love and obvious care and passion feels amazing to eat. The aesthetics of Mark's food is magical. We taste with our eyes, our noses and our tastebuds.
