Sure, you've got your usual bloggers, content writers, marketers, and of course, programmers. And don't get me wrong, these are definitely some of the most popular jobs for digital nomads (because you can do them anywhere), but trust me when I say that this list is hardly comprehensive. All together, Jeff, Marisa & Diego have worked and traveled for well over a decade, and over that time we have encountered some of the most unlikely professions that you would never have even considered...
Like a traveling forensic analyst?
And a professional gambler?
And even a successful traveling musician/DJ.
Seriously! And these aren't just theoretical jobs, these are people who we have actually met.
Without giving away the entire episode, I will say that every one of these jobs in this two-part series is more unusual and unexpected than the last.
We wanted to talk about this list because, well, it's fun. But also, because most people don't become digital nomads because they have a a pre-wired idea of the kind of job they need to have in order to work remote. They think, "Well, I don't know how to code or do programming, so I will never be able to be a remote worker."
They couldn't be further from the truth. And this is becoming especially true as traditionally "office" businesses are increasingly moving their operations fully online.
