195: Slowing Down To Achieve More With Heneka Watkis - Porter

Listen Later

On today’s episode, I chat with Heneka Watkis-Porter. Heneka is an author and entrepreneur who teaches leaders, business owners, and other entrepreneurs the action steps for creating a winning podcast! Through Heneka’s successful and busy career as an entrepreneur, she began to experience health issues that ended up changing her life for the better. She gained a greater understanding of her mind, body, and spirituality as she navigated through the darkest periods of depression she’s ever experienced. Heneka credits her newfound lifestyle and the growing success of her career to taking the time to slow down. Whether you’re going through the lowest of the lows or the highest of the highs, this woman has advice that you can use to improve your quality of life! On this episode we dive into: The importance of taking pauses and listening to your body while you’re on your journey.Heneka’s health journey which lead to her prioritizing self-care.Keeping your mind sheltered no matter what’s going on in the world around you.Taking daily breaks to ensure you’re conserving energy for healing. Why it’s important to stop and process what you’ve gone through before you continue to move forward. The take-home: Heneka credits her shift to living a successful lifestyle to slowing down. This practice, combined with listening to her body, pausing to process her life experiences, and maintaining a strong sense of faith is what helped her get through the darkest periods of her life. While struggling with health issues that caused her to take a long term break from her business, she was able to educate herself on things like proper nutrition, circadian rhythms, and energy restoration for the purpose of healing. This aspect of her journey not only improved her physical and mental health, it also allowed her to grow her business in ways she never had before. Heneka learned that no matter how many things are going on around you, finding a balance in life that is true to your needs, will always bring success greater than ever imagined. It starts with pausing from that mentality of “go, go, go” and practicing a little more of the “slow, slow, slow”. So warriors, are you ready to slow down and level up? Get in touch with with Heneka Watkis-Porter: Email: [email protected]: www.henekawatkisporter.com Instagram: @heneka_watkis_porter--I am now working with one of my favourite brands, Puratae!
