What are you paying attention to? Is it the infinite process of coming to know yourself? Is it the way you might be feeling shame? It’s so easy to take shame on in this life, the feeling of doing “this” wrong, of not belonging. When we feel shame, we feel small. We lose the essence of self and how we express ourselves in this world. We get to be the truest version of ourselves when we show up in bravery and curiosity, but curiosity and shame cannot coexist. So what might it feel like if we set shame down, if only for a moment, and share our feelings with each other, or with ourselves? There is no end to this game of being a human, so let’s put shame aside. Let’s be open and honest and curious. This infinite game we all get to play? It’s beautiful.
