I recently had an extensive body ultrasound after some “hot spots” came back on my thermography scan. It picked up some inflammation in my neck area and I wasn’t sure if it was my carotid artery, thyroid or something else. I had only planned on having the ultrasound scan on my neck but took the advice to have a more extensive look. I’m SO glad I did! He looked at my heart, breasts, kidneys, adrenals, pancreas, spleen, intestines and so much more.Turns out my carotid artery is fine, my thyroid is ok, but there are a few other things he found that I wouldn’t know about had I not done the full body scan. It was a very interesting and eye opening experience and part of what made it so great was my brilliant technician and all of the little tidbits he shared during the 1.5 hour appointment.
