One of the questions that I most frequently get asked is "I am just starting out as a photographer, what should I charge?'.  And my answer might make you question me a bit. Set your prices now, for what you want/need them to be in 5-10 years down the road.

Yes, I said what I said.

Do not shortchange yourself because you are just starting out.

Dream up your ideal life situation, how much money will you need to make to reach that place? Once you have that number, you are able to determine what your session fee needs to be.
