Sometimes being a leader means learning when to listen. In leadership roles, often we feel like we have to do it all alone, without the advice or help of the people around us but in truth, we are stronger in community. We are stronger together. We miss out on opportunities to grown when we keep things to ourselves or refuse to ask for help. Our communities lift us up, and create space and strength for each other as we go through the different seasons in life and make decisions to do things differently. Aaliyah Earvin is leading in her community. She is making change by having the courage to show up and try new things, and to lean on the incredible community she has created.
