For this topic, I'd like to talk about a person whom I've never met in person, but I hope to come across one day. His name is Trevor James or also known as "The Food Ranger," who is a Canadian-born food blogger. 

I first stumbled upon his YouTube Channel a year ago when he was featuring the street food of Chongqing. I guess it was natural for me to be interested in his content because I'm Chinese, and he was featuring our food culture, but I was completely stunned when he spoke our language eloquently. I kid you not, I was blown away by how articulate he was, and on that instant, I rushed to Google and learned that in 2014, he moved to Chengdu where his YouTube Channel, The Food Ranger, was born and heavily influenced.  

A year later in Turkey, he met the love of his life who is a fellow Chinese, and knowing this fascinated me even more, I guess I find it rare to see a foreigner marry a Chinese, let alone speak one of the most challenging languages to learn. Other than that, I must say that his YouTube content is undoubtedly engrossing as even the videos that were captured in other countries show how exquisite and diverse our culture is. With this, I'd say that I'm a fan and, I'm definitely hoping to meet him someday.
