Quite frankly, I really love organizing events for different people, so it was challenging for me to pick one. If there is something I have to choose, I would like to share with you the time when I prepared a party for one of my cousins. Ricky is my youngest cousin and recently has stepped into(刚好) eight. So, I decided to organize a birthday party to surprise him. Everyone else knew about it except Ricky. The party took place at my home. My other family members helped me greatly to arrange the event. We did all the preparations that are needed for the event. We tried to keep it a secret and luckily, no one spoiled the surprise（拆穿秘密）. I was a bit worried at first, especially when we were putting up all the decorations at home. We all tried to be casual（随意） to prevent him from suspecting（怀疑）. I also ordered an eight-pound cake marking the birthday（纪念生日） and invited all the other relatives we had. Everyone arrived in due time（及时地） and it was a successful event in all terms. Ricky was happy indeed with the event and the gifts he received. Personally, I believe that all my efforts were paid off（值得的） after how ecstatic（入迷的） he was during the day. Although it was one of the most challenging preparations I had ever made, I was still able to pull it off（圆满完成） successfully with the help of my dear family.
