The village I visited was in the northern part of the Philippines, called Baguio. It is also known as the summer capital of the Philippines. Actually, most tourists go to the common attractions in the Philippines but this place is a hidden gem（隐藏的宝石）. As a matter of fact, it was relatively colder in climate compared to its neighboring cities.

I visited there in February, 2018. It was so memorable because this was the time when they were preparing for their Flower Festival. I could hear the drums playing and I could see the dancers practicing their number（舞蹈） for the said festival. The roads were also closed because the main road was filled with pop-up stores（快闪店） that sold the village souvenirs and delicacies（佳肴）. This was also the place where I first rode a horse. At first, I was so scared that I might fall, but the guide reassured me that he had everything under control.  I also went to their strawberry-picking farm, where I tasted the sweetest strawberries ever. Their strawberry ice cream was delicious too. Aside from the sumptuous（豪华的） food, the view there was also breathtaking（激动人心的）. We jogged every day and the views of the mountains and pine trees were a sight for sore eyes, and the breeze（微风） was so refreshing. It’s a place that I love recommending my friends as a go-to place（必去的地方） to unwind, seek adventure, and just be lost in the moment.
