At the age of 20, there were already a lot of changes that happened in my life. Today, I would like to share with you a positive change I had.

When I was in high school, I was so addicted and engrossed(全神贯注的;专注的) in playing computer games. My parents scolded(批评；责骂) me a lot of times which even made them cry and beg in front of me. I was an undisciplined（无纪律的；没规矩的） boy. I used to ignore my parent’s advice. I was unaware of the adverse（不利的;有害的） consequences of my actions.

Until one day, I lost the sight in my left eye. According to the doctor, it was because of too much exposure to the computer screen. My parents were right. I should have followed them.

So, I stopped playing computer games. I disciplined（训练；管教） myself. I listened to my parents. After several days, I suddenly regained my sight. Now my two eyes are working clearly.

Losing my sight for several years hit my heart and head hard. That incident was a lesson for me. Everything that is too much would always have a negative result.

Now, I just focus on my studies and physical exercise. I won’t play computer games again. I've already learned my lesson(吸取教训). That’s enough for me.
