I often say that I help people own the hell out of their voice. 

Earlier this month, the day before my 40th birthday, I lost my voice for the first time ever. It got me thinking about what exactly it means to own our voice--and all the ways, audible and not, that we speak.

Join me for some thought experiments, a story about a woman who lost her hearing but gained her listening, and reflections following a conversation with my 96 year-old grandma, that I hope will inspire you to lean more fully into your own unique expression.
