The Brothers Discuss: why the father-daughter relationship is so important and how much any daughter needs their father in their life. Tyler brings up a book that he read called strong fathers, strong daughters by Meg Meeker. Some things that are important for the brother when raising daughters is they want them to know that no matter what, they have someone who loves them even when their father makes mistakes. A common tendency for fathers is to play the role of god in their children's life and the best thing we can do may be to point them towards something that's bigger than themselves. Integrity, honesty, and hard work are among the values that the brothers try to live and teach their kids. Leadership, protection physically and emotionally, and providing are some core values that are needed to be a masculine force for your daughter. Research shows a daughter's self-worth is directly associated with their relationship with their father.
