After an outstanding 2019 saw him top the WTS podium for the first time in Leeds and then again in Hamburg, Jake Birtwhistle had to put racing on hold in 2020. Now he is plotting a course to Tokyo after being the first Australian to receive a discretionary spot, pending quota, on the men's Olympic Triathlon team.
