In the Marketing Minutes, we wanted to talk about investing in yourself and your business. Oftentimes, we talk about making money - but what about spending money to make money? CookieCon, backdrops, Eddies - what can we invest in ourselves to get more out of ourselves? Spending money seems the opposite of making it, but just like the toll roads, if I make $60/hr, and taking the toll road at $30 gets me into the office an hour earlier, I'll have made $30 by spending $30. Same with your cookie business. Find where you can invest in yourself to get more money out of you and your bakery. 

In the Business of Baking, Corrie wanted to cover something that is important both in business and personal life - that's communication. Imagine reaching out to your client before they reached out to you - could you imagine how impressed they would be? Best part - you can automate a lot of it too. Using Google's email scheduler, you can have emails drip out at predetermined times - just set it and forget it!
