Allyson talks about her work with adult survivors of Childhood Emotional Neglect. She and Laura discuss authenticity, vulnerability, self compassion and connection with self and within relationships.

Allyson Dinneen is a writer and marriage and family therapist specializing in emotions, emotional neglect, and relationships. Her book, Notes From Your Therapist (January 2021), is based on the Instagram account she started after her husband's death, where she reflects on grief, childhood trauma, and life. She is currently working on a memoir.
