Hey guys! Heather and Corrie Miracle back with the Sugar Cookie Marketing "Baking it Down" Marketing podcast. This week, we wanted to add a little more structure to our baby-podcast-in-the-making, so here's the breakdown (or bakedown?). Have no clue what the "group" is? No sweat - join us here!
Corrie wanted to cover an economic term called "Common Law of Business Balance" which means that the low price of a good indicates that the producer may have compromised quality, that is, "you get what you pay for". When buying a straightener, she felt the need to, um, buy something more expensive rather than save some money (false economy) that'll land her back in the dreaded "hair straightener aisle."
Heather switches gears with her new kick on business boundaries - training your clients to create a business you enjoy rather than one you dread. Business is hard, not miserable. To keep one from giving way to the other, you have to have rigid, enforced boundaries that protect your time and your client's expectations. App link below!
Want to leave a "Baking it Down" voicemail? Call in! We'd love to hear ya! Promise no one will answer - it's just a voicemail box. The number is (571) 556-5644.
Finally - group stuff. Join us on March 11th, 2021 at 7PM Eastern for "Word of Mouth Weezie" where she will be telling us how to win at porch pickups without having a large social media following. It should be awesome. She'll be live in the Sugar Cookie Marketing Group.
Also - the 3x3x3 Instagram Challenge (I think we found this on TikTok). Leave three comments on accounts that follow you, leave three comments on accounts you follow, and leave three comments on accounts you don't follow nor follow you. How to find them? Listen to the episode!
