For years, I believed my past disqualified me. I thought my mistakes, my upbringing, even my ADHD brain made me less-than. But here’s what I’ve learned: those exact things—my quirks, my struggles, the parts of me I used to hide—are what make me relatable, believable, and powerful. They are what qualify me.
