319: World Athletes of the Year Awards | A “Full Send” Against Influencers

European Cross Country Open Championship races were won by Yann Shrub of France and Karoline Grovdal of Norway over the muddy Laeker Park in Brussels, Belgium. Host nation Belgium were the winning men’s team over France and Norway, while Great Britain were the winning women’s team ahead of Spain and Belgium.

Athletics Australia bestowed Member Federation Award for recognition in its endeavours in fostering the sport of athletics domestically and internationally for 2023.

Letesenbet Gidey was awarded the International Fair Play Award, for her act of sportsmanship and compassion for Sifan Hassan falling at Budapest 10000m.

The boys discuss the Nominations and likely winners for the World Athletics Female & Male Athlete of the Year. Since the time of recording the awards have been given to pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis of Sweden and triple jumper Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela.
