Izzi Batt-Doyle breaks the long-standing Half Marathon National Record, taking third place at the Marugame Half Marathon in 67:17. Andy Buchanan set a new personal best 60:28 for the #2 fastest of all time and Haftu Strintzos 60:36 following behind for #3 all time, while Brett Robinson continues his comeback with a 61:58 performance.
Ryan Gregson runs 2:17:55 in the Beppu-Oita Marathon in Japan.
Cameron Myers sets the Oceania Record for 3000m Short Track in 7:33.12 at New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston USA. Andrew Coscoran of Ireland won the race in 7:30.75 ahead of Frenchman Azzedine Habz and Myers.
Linden Hall ran 8:35.17 3000m short track to move onto the #2 Australian all-time list and two seconds off the indoor world championship qualifier at the John Thomas Terrier CLASSIC at Boston University, behind winner Nikki Hiltz. Amy Bunnage finished third in 8:43.82 to move to #4 Australian and 6th fastest NCAA on the Indoor Track List
Shelby Houlihan took out the 3000m in 8:31.56 at the Razorback Invitational in Arkansas in her first race returning from serving her four-year doping ban.
Tomas Palfrey ran 3:54.57 to win the Indoor Mile, also at the Razorback Invitational representing the University of Oregon.
Sam Ruthe at age 15, is the youngest to win the Open Men’s 3000m New Zealand Championship in 7:56.18
