I don't know about you - but the pitch right out of the gate is unpleasant.

When people send me a connection online and as soon as I accept, they immediately follow it up with a pitch - often without even having looked to see how I would be a fit. You can tell instantly that it's a copy and paste and is out of context and just all-around icky.
