Leonardo Xavier was fortunate enough, as he put it to be in the right place at the right time. He was blessed with the opportunity to have been Royler and Rolker Gracie’s assistant and also a disciple and direct assistant of the man he calls his master and friend, legend Rickson Gracie. 

Learning from and working as an assistant for these incredible Jiu-Jitsu legends set the foundation that Leonardo would build upon over his 25 plus years on the mat as a practitioner, instructor, and world-class competitor. 

On this episode, Leonardo shares incredible memories of the Gracie family, his Jiu-Jitsu philosophy, and what he believes is truly important in the Jiu-Jitsu Journey.
