Discouragement is something each of us faces at some point. We got a review from a listener this week that really impacted us. It reminded us of the “why” behind everything we do, and it reminded us to run with endurance that race that lies before us.  

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 

We never want to allow discouragement to cause us to give up on what God calls us to, and we don’t want that for any of you either. Who knows how many things we have given up on right before the breakthrough, or never started because we felt someone else was doing it better. How about you?  What are you facing right now that is causing you to experience discouragement and what can you do in that place? Will you allow it to break you or allow it to refine you? 

Maybe you aren't discouraged right now, but you can be used by God to encourage someone that is. We want you to remember, and to know, the God we serve. That He can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. That He wants to give good gifts to His children, and He certainly doesn’t want us to stay in discouragement.

Look to Him no matter what you face and don't allow discouragement to stop you from running your race well. We hope this helps you in your marriage because we want you to thrive and not just survive!
