You cannot shame your nervous system into expansion. Growth responds to gentleness. Say some nice words to yourself with self compassion and just see how it is normal to have fear, reaction or nervousness.
Your brain rewires through small, repeated, safe experiences. So instead of a quantum leap, ask - What’s a 5% stretch?
