One thing to do before you pitch a brand is to: get on the brand’s radar.

Before you pitch a brand, we recommend engaging with the brand. Here are a few ways to engage the brand before you send that pitch email:

·      Follow and comment on their Instagram page or TikTok page

·      Create content that organically features the brand – make sure you tag them and use the required hashtags

·      Engage with the brand on Twitter – it’s a great place to start conversations and get on the social media team’s radar

It’s a bonus if you’re able to link to content you’ve already mentioned the brand in your pitch email.
