One doesn't normally associate the word discipline with positive connotations. In fact, typically the first thing that comes to mind is punishment. We want to challenge you on today's episode to look at this through a different lens. In fact, God tells us that He disciplines those He loves. We loves these verses talking about discipline and the benefits it yields.

Hebrews 12:11-13 tells us that, "No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the fruit of peace and righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but healed instead."

We challenge you to start a discipline, stick with one that you have started, and don't become discouraged. 

Develop the disciplines in your life that take you the direction you want to go.
