On this episode I am speaking with footwear designer and developer, Tanita Gray. Inspired by the fashion and creative spaces of Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan as a child, she has spent 16 years in the shoe industry. Over a decade ago she founded Last-Report. The only footwear news magazine that acknowledges western, equestrian and pet footwear as a category. She developed Last Report as a resource and voice of entrepreneurs, professionals, and students who want to understand the business of Shoes. Tanita has created the only footwear news magazine that has an education platform for Footwear Design & Manufacturing. She developed shoes on almost every continent; China, India, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Portugal and here in the United States. Her brand experience include urban brand Akademiks, Ed Hardy and she has served as consultant for Max Martin Shoes as well as Agnes Bethel in her firm T.S. Gray Consulting.
