Season 7 Episode 9: Worldwork Reimagined with Michelle Davis

Throughout this powerful conversation, Michelle Davis, CRR Global's Director of Strategic Worldwork and podcast host Katie Churchman reimagine what worldwork could look like if it were embodied and lived. As opposed to being something we do, how can worldwork be an expression of how we relate to  people, projects and the world around us? 

Worldwork (originally conceptualized by Dr. Arnold Mindell and Dr. Amy Mindell) is a systemic approach and awareness stance for engaging with human relationship systems. It brings attention to both the individual and the collective, helping people work with the dynamics of conflict, identity, culture, emotion and power. Worldwork draws from psychology, ecology and social theory to understand how personal experience and larger social forces shape the way groups, partnerships, communities and organizations evolve. It also helps us to notice how a system expresses itself through roles, signals, patterns and emotional fields.

Worldwork Reimagined recognizes that each of us continually influences the systems we inhabit, whether we are aware of it or not. Although this influence can lead to significant acts of service or community engagement, worldwork always begins with the self. Personal awareness, responsibility and intentional choice form the foundation of meaningful systemic impact.

As Director of Strategic Worldwork and a faculty member at CRR Global, Michelle empowers leaders and teams to bridge divides, transform conflict and co-create a more just future. With a background in counseling and deep expertise in relationship systems coaching, she helps groups surface hidden barriers and build authentic, purpose-driven collaboration.
