What if real change requires believing in something before there’s any proof it’s possible?
In this episode, I explore what it really means to be “delusional”—not disconnected from reality, but willing to hold belief before evidence shows up. Some call this the Law of Assumption. My daughter calls it “being delulu until it’s trulu.” And while that phrase sounds playful, there’s a grounded, scientific reason this way of thinking works.
Most of what we’ve already accomplished in our lives didn’t begin with proof. It began with a decision—believing in a future that didn’t yet match our circumstances. From the outside, and even from the inside, that kind of belief can look unreasonable to us and others. But it’s often the first step toward change.
