The energy in the air, swirling all around us.š¤
Between the time change, the springš· equinox, full moons and the solar eclipse coming up, we here at the Habit Thrive Podcast are absolutely overflowingš with energy!
For the month of March, we have been channeling that energy into our spring and summerš planning.
Today, weāre going to counter our uptick of energy with some recenteringš and rebalancing practices.
The first step to accomplishing this is mindfulness.
So, take a moment and ask yourself:
How do I feel?
What do I need?
What am I grateful for?
Your response may be something like:
I am feeling tired. I need a day off or at least a few hours to myself to relax. Iām grateful that my hard work is bringing me fulfillment and financial security.
Recognizeāļø where you are and what you need, but donāt lose sight of the positiveš„° emotions that sometimes get drowned out by anxiety, depression, fatigue and worry.
Then, try some mindfulness exercises to help you feel more centered and in control:
Meditation:
Lying in bed, try turning on your favorite meditation and setting a timer. Just a short meditation gets you breathing, refocused and ready to go.
Tapping:
Your hands are your tapping tools, and you take them everywhere you go! No apps or phones are needed for this one.
Mantras:
Reciting your favorite mantra is a great way to get centered. Keep one readily accessible on your phone or a piece of paper in your wallet. Before long, you will have it memorized and can use it any time, any place.
You might find that you need a quick tapping session before you get out of bed in the morning.š„±
Or maybe you have a mantra for long, tough days𫨠that you like to repeat to get you through the mid-afternoon slump.
Or a nighttime meditation after a warm bath might get you relaxed and ready to let go into sleep.š“
Or maybe you like all of these!š
GIve them a try, switch them up and make the most of the tools that work for you.
