In culture today, there is a mind-set of self-love, vs. what Christ calls us to, which is to be selfLESS. 

We were shocked by several articles that stated the reason they chose to get a divorce is because of self-love. We see the continued trend of how culture is demeaning marriage, the value of it, and also giving it the appearance of it being simple to walk away from.  In fact, the lie is that it will actually benefit your family to see you pursue happiness vs. staying in your marriage. 

Don't fall for the lie! Don't start serving self and stop pursuing one another. 

Once again, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and follow Him. Let's not take this lightly. Luke 9:23 “Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
