98. May Movement Series: Can We Make Ourselves Love Exercise? - An Ayurvedic Perspective

Last week on the Habit Thrive Podcast, we touched on whether or not we ever find ourselves craving habits like exercise and movement.


On Episode #98 this week, we are kicking off the month of May - and a month of movement šŸ’Ŗ - by exploring how Ayurveda can have us embracing exercise.


Ayurveda is a holistic medicine focusing on knowledge, longevity and wisdom šŸ¤“ and describes our life years in 3 seasons:


šŸ‘£ Kapha (from birth through adolescence) is our time of literal growth.

šŸ”„ Pitta (from our 20s up to 50) is the time of building our lives with fire and energy.

šŸ¤— Vata (starting at 50) is what I call our time of arising.


In our Vata stage, we have the opportunity to experience a new awakening regarding our body-mind-spirit relationship and its connection to the world.šŸŒŽ


So join me today in stepping outside, taking a few deep breaths, and enjoying the gift of easy, in-the-moment movement.


Feel the power of grounding yourself with the Earth and breathing in the world around you.
