Last week on the Habit Thrive Podcast, we touched on whether or not we ever find ourselves craving habits like exercise and movement.
On Episode #98 this week, we are kicking off the month of May - and a month of movement šŖ - by exploring how Ayurveda can have us embracing exercise.
Ayurveda is a holistic medicine focusing on knowledge, longevity and wisdom š¤ and describes our life years in 3 seasons:
š£ Kapha (from birth through adolescence) is our time of literal growth.
š„ Pitta (from our 20s up to 50) is the time of building our lives with fire and energy.
š¤ Vata (starting at 50) is what I call our time of arising.
In our Vata stage, we have the opportunity to experience a new awakening regarding our body-mind-spirit relationship and its connection to the world.š
So join me today in stepping outside, taking a few deep breaths, and enjoying the gift of easy, in-the-moment movement.
Feel the power of grounding yourself with the Earth and breathing in the world around you.
And once you have done that, ask yourself:
