Richie Vas Vaculik is a fighter & big wave surfer. But ultimately he’s a Bra Boy.
What makes Richie a Bra Boy?
It’s not the words tattooed across his stomach or the postcode on his mailing address. It’s the attitude that formed many great champions & the scars that tell many great stories. The same way of life that was the ruining of some & the catalyst of greatness for others. It’s fighting the fear, looking it dead in the eyes & charging forward like your life depends on it, and sometimes it does in this story. But most of all, a Bra Boy is one man amongst a brotherhood. Men who surf together, fight alongside each other & champion their mates on their chosen path. It’s what made a Richie Vaculik the man he is today. It’s the reason he sat beside me with many incredible stories to tell. It’s what challenged him, changed his perspective & set him on a path to success.
The story Richie shares today is one of self diagnosed failure, redemption & success. He hopes that those of you listening learn from his experience & if not, fast enough from your own.
It was a pleasure to sit face to face with a great man. To hear his story & share it, is my privilege. Richie will always be welcome to share story on The Experience.
Enjoy our yarn & spread the word far & wide.

Mick 'Chappo' Chapman is an endurance athlete & nutritionist.
The recent launch of his business 'Chappo Health & Nutrition' was a project born to combat the false & financially driven mis-information making its way into the nutrition & health conversation.
With a degree in nutrition & many years as a competitive endurance athlete, not only does he know the science of food but he understands how to put it to practice.
In this episode, Chappo busts the bullshit surrounding nutrition & talks bout practical application for the everyday office worker to the competitive athlete.
An educational yet entertaining conversation that I thoroughly enjoyed. I hope you do too.

Dom Littrich AKA 'Big Twisty' & his band the 'Funknasty' are bringing the funk back.
There is no doubt that Dom's alter ego is a show of musical talent & genuine passion with a side of comic flare.
An endeavour designed to boost the vibe of everyone ear & soul his music touches, the growth of 'Big Twisty' has been one of the real success stories of 2020.
You may recognise Dom's name & voice from Ep007 of The Experience where he shared the story & journey behind the creation of his alter ego & the success of his other musical endeavour with popular Aussie band 'Pacific Avenue'.
It was a pleasure to have the Twisty back in the studio for a catch up on the year that followed our first interview.

Gus Worland was a humble laptop salesman in the UK before his stardom began.
In his late 30's a trip to the cricket with best mate Hugh Jackman inspired Gus to follow the Australian cricket team & their fans around the world filming a number of shows for network television.
Whilst sharing his story on radio one morning Gus found himself receiving a call up to feature on radio full time & that move shaped a huge part of his life for the years to come.
Whilst taking great satisfaction from his work, there was something brewing in the background that Gus felt was his true purpose in life. Some years after losing a close mate to suicide, Gus felt compelled to begin a journey within mental health awareness & suicide prevention.
Gus founded 'Gotcha 4 life'. A not-for-profit Foundation that funds sustainable educational workshops, training programmes and products building this mental fitness in communities across Australia, to enable strong, open and binding relationships.
A powerful story that I had the pleasure to share. Please take the time to follow their work & support the people around you. https://www.gotcha4life.org/ @gusworland @gotcha4life
