Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space. 

This week, we begin by handing out grades to each Mets player, as well as the front office and Luis Rojas. We also discuss Luis Rojas’ firing and the latest front office rumors.

We also talk about two prominent pieces in ESPN and The Athletic about the mental health crisis in the minor leagues and the poor conditions players face—an issue that is thankfully receiving more national attention as we head into CBA negotiations in the offseason.
