We talk about how the show expanded on the universe of the movie, telling queer stories and Black stories. We also talk about the baseball scenes and the purposeful stylistic choices the show made to appeal to a modern audience.

We wrap things up like we always do with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what’s making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise.
