This week, we begin by discussing the latest Juan Soto rumors in the aftermath of the Mets’ meeting with the coveted free agent over the weekend. The outlook for the Mets on the Soto front is positive, but you never know. Like the rest of the Mets universe, we await his decision with bated breath. 

Next, we talk about other free agency rumors, including the Mets’ interest in Willy Adames and connection to trade target Garrett Crochet. We also discuss Luis Severino and Sean Manaea turning down the Mets’ qualifying offer, Francisco Lindor’s award nominations, the Mets adding another former Yankees coach to their staff, and more. 

In the second half of the show, we cover the new Women’s Pro Baseball League, which will have its first season in 2026. This is huge news for the APOTO fam and something we’ve been anticipating for a long time. We also touch on Wander Franco’s arrest, the new shaky situation with the Rays’ stadium deal, and the culmination of the Diamond Sports Group bankruptcy saga.

Finally, we wrap things up with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what’s making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise.
